RIYADH, 30 August — A Saudi man convicted of a series of felonies, including kidnapping two women, was executed yesterday in Baha town in the south of the Kingdom, the Interior Ministry said. Ali ibn Ayed ibn Shaddad was found guilty of armed robberies, resisting arrest and shooting at police, the ministry said in a statement.
The man was also convicted of using two women as human shields while trying to escape from police as well as threatening people and damaging private property, the ministry added. (SPA)
