WASHINGTON, 31 August — Abu Zubaida, 31, former in charge of operations at Al-Qaeda network, who was arrested in Pakistan last March, was cooperating with US investigators, Asharq Al-Awsat reported quoting American officials. "He was providing US agents with solid information," the officials said, adding that he had helped them find a number of new terrorist cells. The officials disclosed that two Al-Qaeda leaders arrested along with Abu Zubaida were said not to be cooperating with the agents. They did not name the two leaders.
