The admirable and effective participation of Asian, Middle Eastern and African women has had a definite impact on world economy and development. Arab women have not fallen behind in their activities as business entrepreneurs, developers and advisers and have made their presence felt in world markets and world business. To encourage and protect the endeavors of these enterprising women is both laudable and essential.
Considering that businesswomen are contributing extensively and effectively at all levels of economic prosperity and development, the First Arab and International Businesswomen’s Conference in Dubai has been planned as a special strategic initiative.
Businesswomen will have the opportunity to meet, network, exchange ideas and forge new business links.
A number of Saudi participants are expected. Organized and managed by B2B Impact Limited, UK, the conference will run from Oct. 1 to 3 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dubai.
Called “a conference with a difference”, the event plans to have speakers who are international women entrepreneurs who started and now run their own businesses and who will discuss both their successes and failures.
There will also be workshops covering a wide range of topics; these will be run by professional trainers from all over the world. Some of the areas to be covered include: Globalization and Transformative Leadership, Development of National Economics, Importance of PR and Marketing to International Business, Women in Public Life, Business Case Studies, the Role of Arab Women in the Development of National Economics and Awareness of Different Cultures.
A specially designed and created “Community on the Web” will enable delegates and other international businesswomen to continue networking and consolidating their links throughout the year.
According to Lale Ansingh of Rawaj International FZ LLC, Dubai, the conference has been organized to provide interactive opportunities to businesswomen of the Arab world and their international counterparts and also to establish platforms of mutual interest.
The event is sponsored by HSBC, Shell, Emirates Airlines, Trade Partners, UK, Gulf Business and Emirates Woman. It is also supported by BAWE, Les Femmes Chefs D’Enterprises Mondiales and Dubai Media City.
