MAKKAH, 3 September — The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has urged the Muslim world to extend humanitarian assistance to Chadian Muslims to ease their sufferings. The situation in Chad recently aggravated due to the severe drought expereinced by the country. WAMY’s Assistant Secretary General Dr. Abdul Wahab Noorwali urged all wealthy people, benefactors and Muslims to extend generous donations to alleviate the hardships of Chadian Muslims who are living in abject poverty.
