JEDDAH, 6 October — Studies are under way to open five new medical centers and nursing institutes in Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah at a total cost of SR56 million, Al-Madinah Arabic daily reported yesterday quoting Dr. Mohammed Qandeel, a member of the team entrusted with the task of conducting studies on the projects.
He said the new institutes would produce 420 nurses within two years, adding that they would help meet growing requirements of nurses by the city’s hospitals and clinics.
