JEDDAH, 18 October — The Science Society of Pakistan International School Jeddah, Senior Girls Section (Class V-XII) organized a science exhibition in the school library on Oct. 10. The multi-colored display showed more than two hundred items. They were prepared from common objects such as cardboard, packing material, wool, foam, plasticine, clay, plaster of Paris, etc. A superb spirit of competition and enthusiasm was observed among the students.
It was evident that the teachers and parents shared equal interests, and provided the necessary help and guidance to the students in preparing such educative and informative items. The Principal, Mohammad Siddique, accompanied by the Headmistress, Mrs. Salma Khan, inaugurated the exhibition. The chief guest expressed his satisfaction and congratulated organizers Mrs. Munir Qureshi and Mrs. Rakhshanda Kaukab.
The panel of judges comprising Jan-e-A1am, Raja Iqbal and Raees Alvi selected three best presentations from each of the categories for awards. The exhibition was opened for mothers too, on the "parents' day". The visitors were highly delighted with the work of youngsters and children.
