RIYADH, 18 October — Saudi Arabia has signed three memorandums of understanding with American universities to train 375 educationists over the next five years, Education Minister Dr. Mohammed Al-Rasheed said yesterday. The ministry has selected Oklahoma, Indiana and California universities to provide a two-year diploma course in education. Al-Rasheed recently signed an agreement for scientific cooperation with the US State Department, within the framework of the Glove environmental education program, which is supported by 140 US universities and scientific organizations.
