RIYADH, 20 October — The Kingdom’s national budget for 2003 will make allocations for 21,000 new jobs in the health sector, Al-Madinah reported yesterday quoting Health Minister Dr. Osama Shubokshi. He said the new appointments will fill the vacancies at public hospitals. Shubokshi said efforts were under way to implement the second phase of the electronic health program, covering all hospitals and health facilities in the country. The ministry is providing training to 250 officials at the ministry and 600 others in various parts of the country to implement the program.
