JOUF, 22 October — The Kingdom yesterday started implementing new rules and regulations to provide visas to foreign businessmen and investors to visit their counterparts in the Kingdom.

The Foreign Ministry has approved a new unified visa form to apply for business visas at Saudi embassies and missions abroad. It has instructed the embassies to reject the applications made in other forms.

The form contains names of Saudi companies requesting the visa, their commercial registration, address in the Kingdom, contact number, name and nationality of the foreign visitor, period of visit, type of visa, single visit or multiple entry visas and reasons for the visit.

The company applying for the visa should give an undertaking that the person visiting the Kingdom will be under its responsibility and that he will abide by Saudi rules and regulations.

The application forms should contain all the information mentioned in the new form and should be printed on a company letterhead. Companies should also attach a copy of their valid commercial registrations, attested by the chamber of commerce, along with the application form.
