JEDDAH, 29 October — A function was held at the Pakistan Consulate General in Jeddah on Sunday to mark the unlawful occupation of Kashmir by the Indian forces. A large number of Pakistani expatriates participated in the event that was held to observe the "Black Day". The head of the Saudi Islamic Education Foundation, Hamood Ashemimry, chaired the function and Consul General Tahir Iqbal Butt presided. The speakers condemned the atrocities being perpetrated by the occupation forces. They emphasized the urgent need to get the aspirations and the right to self-determination of the Kashmiris fulfilled.
