JEDDAH, 28 November 2002 — The Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry has prepared a training program for Saudi taxi drivers as part of expediting the Saudization of the sector, Al-Watan newspaper reported yesterday. The program will focus on training the youths in the ethics of driving a taxi, developing their skills, creating in them a sense of esteem about the profession, and making them disciplined and law-abiding, said Ibrahim Bardisi of the job training and research section of the Makkah chamber.
