TAIF, 14 December 2002 — The emergency ward of King Faisal Hospital in Taif treated more than 420 people injured in traffic and other accidents during Eid Al-Fitr holidays, Al-Jazirah reported yesterday. Among the 141 injured in road accidents 88 were Saudis, the paper said, adding that six were injured in fire accidents. A total of 63 people were injured in fighting while 213 — 117 men and 37 women — injured falling down accidentally.
