RIYADH, 17 December 2002 — The Ministry of Education has approved this year’s budget to establish 780 new schools, besides completing school projects that spilled from last year’s budget. In a press statement, the ministry’s undersecretary for construction and school supplies Abdullah ibn Hamad Al-Fozan pointed out that the budget includes allocations for computers, lab equipment and maintenance of school buildings.
