SANAA, 17 December 2002 — A medical team from the Riyadh-based Prince Sultan Center for Heart Diseases and Surgery has arrived in Yemen on a three-week visit during which it will conduct a number of open heart surgeries. Dr Khalid Al-Jubeir, head of the team, said the visit comes in line with the directives of Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, to enhance medical cooperation between the Kingdom and Yemen. The medical team includes five heart surgeons and nine nurses and technicians. (SPA)
