RIYADH, 23 December 2002 — Riyadh Governor Prince Salman will attend a seminar here tomorrow on the strategic importance of water.
Entitled ‘Water is a scientific strategic challenge that faces the entire mankind’, the seminar is being organized by the ministries of water and higher education.
The participants will discuss a number of topics including rationalization of water consumption, the role of water in the growth of civilizations, water crisis in the world, hydrological data and its importance in the evaluation of the water situation.
