It did not take long for the renowned terrorist and war criminal Ariel Sharon to show his real face. As soon as the carefully choreographed photograph opportunity with Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian prime minister, and George W. Bush was over, Sharon went on with his favorite pastime of killing innocent Palestinians. Ariel Sharon is simply a product of hate.
It is instructive to calculate the number of killings by the Israelis after every peace proposal, be it from the Arabs, the Europeans or lately by the Americans. Sharon is a terrorist who must not be rewarded with peace. Arafat was removed from the scene; Saddam was ousted; Sharon must face the same fate. It is discouraging — and simply insulting to humanity — in this day and age to accept the announcement of Israel as being “a Jewish State”, something that Sharon has pushed for and got with the blessing and support of the Bush administration.
The world thought that after the fall of apartheid in South Africa there would no longer be room for such a vulgar and discriminating political system. What happens to the half a million Arabs living in Palestine? If it were left to Sharon, he would pluck them all, ten killings per day. He probably would love to be able to do that.
He has the most supportive American administration in history, and it backs his every action, an administration that follows the trail of every suspect dollar that could conceivably have funded of financed terror activities and leaves no stone unturned to track it down. But this effort, while it is most important, falls purposely short of being universal and consistent in its coverage.
How else can we explain the continuous suspect activities of militant terrorist Jewish groups in Palestine?
They are fully armed occupiers of Palestinian land, living out their own wacky version of a biblical fairytale. They kill innocent Palestinians daily, dismantle their houses and destroy their plantation.
They are fully funded by “charity” organizations in the US that funnel millions of dollars into support of their mad, hateful and criminal terror activities. America must stop these horrific acts that are carried out in the name of its noble charity programs.
They are tools in the hands of a bloodthirsty madman like Sharon. As long as loopholes like these exist and support from the American administration continues, there will be no end to his killings.
America owes the world a universal moral stand that is applied equally and fairly. It must therefore clearly include Israel. Anything short of that simply makes all the talk about Sharon’s peace plan a work of science fiction.
