RIYADH, 27 October 2003 — Efforts are under way to distribute 250,000 iftar meals among Muslim faithful in Riyadh this Ramadan. The project is undertaken by a group of young Saudi men in various government departments in cooperation with highway patrol and charitable organizations. The meals will be distributed at 52 points including 25 traffic signals, four checkpoints and 23 hospitals and emergency centers.
