JEDDAH, 7 November 2003 — The Ministry of Haj is expected to revoke the licenses of 20 Umrah companies and blacklist them, Okaz newspaper reported. The decision is expected to affect companies that have been receiving consistently bad reports for three years, the paper said. The ministry accuses them of playing fast and loose with the rules and registering an average of 10 percent of overstayers from their operations, it added.
