JEDDAH, 19 November 2003 — The Passports Department has refused to waive fines worth SR10 million it had imposed on Umrah companies for violating regulations, Al-Madinah reported quoting Maj. Gen. Abdul Aziz Sajeeni, director general of the department. “We have notified the Court of Grievances of our objection to lifting the punishment,” Sajeeni said.
