KUWAIT CITY, 1 December 2003 — The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) announced yesterday that it has set up a new money transfer service to Iraq. Under the new service people can transfer US dollars or Iraqi dinars from any NBK branch to banks in Baghdad, Mosul, and Basra, director of personal banking at NBK Adel Abdul Wahab Al-Majid said. The service coincides with the policy of Kuwait’s biggest bank to assist customers entering the Iraqi market, he said.
