JEDDAH, 9 April 2004 — Aramco has organized the Al-Sharm Corporate Toastmaster Club in Yanbu, the first toastmaster’s club to be formed in the Western Region outside of Jeddah.
Aramco-Yanbu formally launched the club recently in the presence of officials from Toastmasters Area 11, composed of various TM clubs in the region.
At the launch of the club at the Aramco office in Yanbu, Jose Poovathinkal, area assistant governor for education and training, and Aramco-Jeddah Club President Ahmed Kuwaihes explained what it takes to build and nurture a club and its members.
Elected and installed as officers of the club were Hamed Al-Badrani, president; Abdullah Filimban, vice president for education; Fahad Al-Wehebi, VP for membership; Natheer Tarazy, VP for public relations; Mohammed Nayeem Rayees, secretary; Basim Zarie, treasurer; and Ibrahim Fadag, sergeant-at-arms.
