JEDDAH, 11 April 2004 — The first Saudi gas forum will be held at the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry from May 15 to 17. Abdul Rahman Al-Rashid, chairman of the chamber, said the forum would provide a good opportunity for businessmen in the Kingdom and the neighboring countries to meet with executives of international oil and gas giants. “This will help them to know investment opportunities in the Kingdom’s new gas projects,” the Saudi Press Agency quoted him as saying. He said some 500 experts and businessmen would take part in the three-day event.
