JEDDAH, 11 April 2004 — The Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) yesterday approved new loans worth SR161 million for eight industrial projects, a press statement said. The new projects are specialized in making single-ply and multi-ply HDPE and LDPE sheets, thermoformed plastic pots and trays, pre-engineered buildings, corrugated/plain sheet-iron, GRP epoxy pipes, ceramic tiles and duplex box paper. “It also included a technical assistance agreement with the Korean Hansol Paper Company,” the statement said. SIDF has so far provided 2,590 loans valued at more than SR45.5 billion.
