Saudi Arabia’s largest building material precast company, Al-Rashid-Abetong Co. Ltd., with sales of SR190 million in 2003, has selected the iScala Collaborative ERP system from Scala Business Solutions to streamline its business processes. The new system will lead to better integrated business operations spanning manufacturing, warehousing and finance, among a host of other functions.

He said the iScala implementation has already begun with Al-Rashid-Abetong opting for a modular installation starting with the financial and material management processes.
This latest win in the Kingdom builds on Scala’s presence in Saudi Arabia over the last four years. The company now has signed more than three dozen customers in the Kingdom.
Mahmoud Judeh, finance and administration manager, Al-Rashid-Abetong, explained the reason for selecting iScala and the benefits the company hopes to gain from the implementation.
“Our business involves design, manufacturing, delivery and erection of various turnkey projects,” Judeh said. “By choosing iScala we expect to make a huge difference by tracking cost and profitability of these projects accurately.
