JEDDAH, 13 April 2004 — Police have identified the two suspects in the murder of police officer Ahmad Al-Asafi. Al-Asafi was shot dead on Friday afternoon while questioning two men in a car he had stopped on Macarona Street, the second such killing in a week. According to Al-Madinah newspaper the two are wanted in connection with multiple crimes. Police also identified the suspects’ car, which the paper said belonged to a third person.
