TAIF, 17 April 2004 — Two separate fire incidents were reported in hospitals in Taif on Thursday, daily Okaz reported.
A heater caused a fire in the Psychiatric Hospital where the Civil Defense had to evacuate 60 patients.
At the King Faisal Hospital, a faulty electricity generator is being blamed for the blaze. There was no loss of life.
In a separate incident at the Psychiatric Hospital, three patients fled the hospital after attacking the security guard.
Two were later brought back to the hospital by their families, while the third is still at large.
