JEDDAH, 24 April 2004 — Muhammad Saleh found there was no getting away from terrorists. By chance, Saleh was caught up in both Jeddah sieges. “I live in Al-Safa neighborhood where all the action happened on Wednesday night,” he said. “Police prevented me from going inside the neighborhood all night so I went to my cousin’s house in Nuzla Yamaniya only to wake up in the morning in the middle of another terrorist shootout.

“I hope more suspects will fall into the hands of the police or get killed. Shootouts in residential neighborhoods are not a part of the peaceful Saudi society.” He hopes that he will not be embroiled in any more trouble.
