BEIRUT, 28 April 2004 — Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement yesterday refused comment over an Israeli statement about progress in a second stage of a prisoner exchange between the two. “It’s the party’s secretary-general Hassan Nasrallah who gives news about this delicate subject and he has not done so for the moment,” a Hezbollah spokesman said. On Monday, Israeli Chief of Staff Gen. Moshe Yaalon reported progress in the second phase of a prisoner swap with the movement.
