MAKKAH, 3 May 2004 — A cleaner has won a case brought against a well-known Saudi businessman. The businessman earns millions every year in various deals. The judge ruled in favor of the worker who was asking for full payment of his end-of-service benefits. He worked for the businessman for 8 years and then his contract was terminated. The judge also ruled that the businessman should pay the cleaner’s medical expenses and air tickets for the years that he had not been allowed to go home.
