NUIEREYA, 6 May 2004 — A Saudi man buried his favorite camel in a graveyard for humans in a village near Nuiereya, Al-Youm reported. The man was very sad when his camel died and vowed to treat the dead animal with respect. He loaded the camel into his pick-up truck and took it to a nearby graveyard. He brought five people to dig a big enough grave. Members of the public were surprised to see such a large grave in the graveyard and when they learned that a camel had been buried in it, they threatened to call the police.
