JEDDAH, 24 May 2004 — A mobile phone saved the lives of four people, two Saudis and two expatriate workers, when their car got stuck in the desert sand outside Qunfuda, Al-Jazirah reported. After wandering around for a considerable time they managed to get a connection from the top of a sand dune, it said.
