KHOBAR, 30 May 2004 — Students in a girls’ middle school were surprised to see a wild dog in the building, Al-Youm reported. The dog was discovered when a sick girl was excused to go to the hospital with her father who was waiting outside the building for her. As she was on her way, she was surprised to come face to face with a wild dog that had come in through a hole in one of the walls. She ran immediately and notified the principal who ordered every classroom door to be locked and for the school guard to remove the dog from the premises. Parents of the girls were very angry that nothing had been done about the hole in the wall and so their daughters had been put at unneccessary risk.
