NAJRAN, 31 May 2004 — A wife was so frustrated and angry because of her husband's threats to divorce her that she drank acid, Okaz reported. During a heated argument with her husband, the woman drank the acid. Minutes later, she begged her husband to help her. He quickly took her to the hospital. The husband later said that the entire argument was due to a "slip of the tongue" which he regretted as he loves his wife and his children. He promised to do whatever is necessary to re-establish good relations.
