The Middle East operations of VERITAS Software Corporation is hosting a five-city roadshow across the region, where company experts will train resellers in the deployment and use of two VERITAS solutions. The event — being held in Beirut, Dubai, Riyadh, Cairo and Morocco from June 1 to June 10 — is open to resellers working with VERITAS channel partners.
Delegates will receive sales and technical training for VERITAS Backup Exec and VERITAS StorageCentral. Backup Exec Version 9.1, available in Windows and NetWare editions, provides automated protection of critical data on workstations and servers, while StorageCentral automatically controls Windows storage allocation, blocking inappropriate file types and recovering wasted disk space.
“These two solutions work to protect valuable information and maximize the efficient use of storage resources,” said Katie Spurgeon, regional channel manager, VERITAS, Middle East. “VERITAS is training resellers across the region to ensure that our customers derive maximum benefit from these sophisticated and cost-effective applications.”
