ASIR, 14 June 2004 — The sound of a cell phone ringing in a mosque caused a fight, Al-Watan reported. A young man was in the mosque for Maghreb prayer when his phone began to ring with musical tones. This upset a group of men who were in the front rows. They shouted at the young man that he should leave his cell phone at home. This annoyed him and he began a fight with them. The prayer was delayed for ten minutes until things returned to normal in the mosque.
