TEHRAN, 17 June 2004 — Air France has resumed nonstop commercial flights between Paris and Tehran after a seven-year halt, a company spokeswoman said yesterday. The French airliner truck Tehran off its list of destinations in 1997 due to poor profitability of the route. But growing foreign investment opportunities in the Islamic Republic have seen increased demand for seats between Iran and Europe in recent years.
