Acer Computer (M.E.) Ltd. is giving people in Riyadh, Jeddah and Alkhobar the opportunity to try out its latest range of innovative notebooks and desktop PCs by taking part in Intel’s Big Bang Exhibition.
The exhibition, which is being held in cities around the Middle East, arrived on June 23 for four days in Jeddah at the Hera Shopping Mall and is now in Riyadh at the Sahara Mall.
The exhibition will be held in Alkhobar from June 30 to July 3 at Alrashid Mall. During that period, visitors to the display areas will be able to test the latest Acer products, which include Centrino and Hyper-Threading technology from Intel.
Since being the first company in the Middle East to introduce a Centrino-based notebook, Acer has continually educated the community about the benefits of Intel Centrino technology, which is specifically designed for wireless and mobile computing. In Saudi Arabia, sales have been strong for the Aspire RC500, which was Acer’s first “pleasure center” product launched in the region. Boasting Hyper-Threading technology from Intel, the Aspire RC500 can do everything from playing movies and music to broadcasting television and storing photographs.
“In Acer’s view, consumers in Saudi Arabia want devices for their homes that are able to interact with each other,” said Philip Ashkar, director of sales and marketing, Acer Computer (M.E.) Ltd. “People enjoy being able to have everything from a television and stereo to PC and photo album in one device.”
