JEDDAH, 8 July 2004 — Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association has fixed Oct.7, 2004 as the tentative date to observe Sir Syed Day. Holiday Inn at Kilo 2, Makkah Road is the likely venue.
A press release issued by the association’s ad hoc committee said a final decision on the date, venue and chief guest of the celebration would be announced in September after a meeting of the general body.
