ISLAMABAD, 3 August 2004 — A high-level delegation led by Jaleel Abbas, federal secretary for culture, sports and tourism left for New Delhi yesterday to take part in composite dialogue between Pakistan and India slated to begin in New Delhi today.
The five-member delegation will discuss the promotion of friendly exchanges between the two countries.
With the beginning of talks today the process of negotiations on three crucially important subjects of the composite dialogue with India will enter the second phase, which will be completed by Saturday next.
Todays talks will be followed by talks on Siachen and Sir Creek tomorrow and Friday.
