JEDDAH, 16 September 2004 — The Sri Lankan International School has reported “excellent performance” of its first batch of students who sat the GCE O’Level exam last May. Six of the seven students who sat excelled in their performance. Nipun Jayamaha, former head-prefect of the school, topped the rank by obtaining A grade in English, math, chemistry, physics, biology, commerce and accounting, and B grade in economics. Rifka Saheed obtained four A’s and two B’s, while Rikaz Samsudeen secured A in math and accounting. Haseena Mansoor secured A in English language and B in accounting, Rukshana Rizwie got B’s in biology and commerce, while Azeez Akbar got a B in accounting.
