RIYADH, 20 September 2004 — The leader of a major drug ring was arrested in the east of Riyadh after being cornered at the end of a car chase, Al-Jazirah newspaper reported.
Police found more than 7,200 illicit pills worth SR200,000 with the 22-year-old drug dealer.
The arrest came after police suspected a limousine and asked the Saudi driver to stop. But he dodged the police and drove off triggering a police chase. After a 15-minute chase the drug dealer was cornered and arrested.
