JEDDAH, 6 October 2004 — The Muslim Service Society in India works for the social, economic and educational uplift of the community, says its Vice President P.V. Ahmedkutty. He also noted the organization’s efforts to help cancer patients in Kerala.
“We have established two medical aid centers near the medical colleges in Calicut and Trivandrum,” he said. MSS provides 390 rupees each to 675 cancer patients every month. Its Jeddah unit has contributed 170,000 rupees to the program.
