JEDDAH, 30 August 2005 — Communication specialists estimated revenues from marketing through cell phones to reach SR1.6 billion in the Middle East in the next five years with Saudi Arabia’s share being 19 percent of total revenues, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported. Experts say that local companies are competing to market their products through cell phone, which is considered an alternative way for companies to search for customers in the Middle East.
