DUBAI, 31 August 2005 — Aramex, part of Arab International Logistics (AIL) and listed on the Dubai Financial Market, confirmed that it is in final negotiations with Liban Post for the acquisition of the Lebanese postal service operator. Although the negotiations between the two companies remain in the final stages, Aramex is issuing this statement of clarification due to press leaks in some of the Lebanese media about the status of the negotiations and Aramex’s post-acquisition plans.
