YANBU, 4 September 2005 — Yanbu hotels and furnished apartments recorded 80 percent occupancy during this summer, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported. The prices of hotels ranged between SR400 and SR600 per night while furnished apartment prices ranged between SR200 and SR350 per night. According to economic experts, the high level of occupancy this summer season is because many Saudis preferred to spend their vacation in Saudi Arabia rather than traveling abroad because of international events.
