For the first time since the launch of EasyLearning programs globally by the UN, the Virginia State University (VSU) Supreme Academy Board announced that it has accredited the EasyLearning certificate issued by the UN and offered by Etisalat Academy. Under the arrangement with VSU, accredited diploma certificates will be issued after students complete any e-learning program through Etisalat Academy including courses in administration, E-government programs, accounting, marketing, customer services, project management and English language among many others.
“This initiative is a unique and hugely important step for the academy and confirms its leading role in the region,” said Dr. Doaa Fares, GM, Etisalat Academy. “We are pleased to be able to work side by side with Virginia State University to implement this remarkable project. We consider the development of e-learning a priority and will encourage its growth within the region.”
He noted that Etisalat Academy was fulfilling an important role in bridging the gaps between knowledge, experience, labor market and universities. One of the educational organizations the academy deals with includes ISC2, which is the first in the world to offer the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) accreditation.
“The academy has been chosen as a regional representative for a number of international educational institutions in the US and Europe,” added Fares. “It has also been accredited as the first regional center in the Middle East to examine IT experts and engineers hoping to take certain advanced professional certifications.”
