JEDDAH,7 September 2005 — The Jeddah municipality decided to close down Al-Hamra Corniche area to carry out a plan for new investment, Al-Madinah newspaper reported. The new investment plans came after the municipality received many complaints from people saying that beach horses and camels and buggies are turning away visitors. The new investment will provide more jobs for young Saudis.
