JEDDAH, 8 September 2005 — More than 70 orphan children, ranging in age from 9 to 13 years, participated in games, movies and Q&A sessions that focused on providing them with an understanding of what it takes to succeed in life, during the three-day “Let’s succeed” camp, organized by Modern Industries Company (MIC), its employees and Al Bir Association in Dammam recently. The children learned about the importance of knowledge, cooperation and discipline in achieving their life goals. “The many smiles and waves of laughter over the days surely reflect the tremendous success of the camp. We’re proud of our employee volunteers who took part, thus reflecting MIC’s commitment to help improve the lives of those children in need,” said MIC General Manager Nidal Jamjoom. Over 40 MIC employees conducted the activities and acted as “big brothers” to the children. “The charitable behavior of all participants is truly a model for other organizations,” Jamjoom added.
