JEDDAH, 13 September 2005 — The Saudi Committee for Industrial Cities signed a contract to design the industrial city in Jeddah seaport, AL-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported. The contract was signed with a consultancy office to prepare designs and determine the main utilities needed in the industrial city. This contract aims at establishing industrial cities inside seaports to fulfill the needs for investors and encourage Saudi production.
