JEDDAH, 14 September 2005 — Sales of Ford Mercury cars were up by 20 percent in the first seven months of this year over the same period last year, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported. The sales of the Ford Grand Marquis increased and the company sold more than 32, 000 cars when it was first launched.
